What is Dermapen4 and how does it work?

Dermal needling treatments use a vibrating tool, or roller with tiny needles to penetrate the upper layers of the skin. These can penetrate up to a depth of 2.5mm which causes thousands of punctures to the surface of the skin. This causes natural growth factors to be released, allowing nourishing hyaluranon to be infused deep into the skin, stimulating new collagen deposition. Hyaluranon is a natural carbohydrate already present in the skin which promotes hydration and cell communication.

Dermapen®4 is the ultimate in advanced and innovative dermal needling and is the most widely used dermal needling system worldwide. It is a highly specialised instrument that contains very fine surgical needles that creates micro-puncture across the treated area.
